By placing an order on the website, the customer confirms that they have read and accepted these Terms & Conditions of Sale.
1. Products
Common Office sells apparel, accessories and other physical products presented on the website.
Product descriptions, photographs, colours, dimensions and other information are provided as accurately as possible.
Slight variations in colour, positioning, printing or appearance may occur due to manufacturing processes, screen settings or the materials used.
Such minor variations do not constitute a defect where they do not affect the normal use or essential characteristics of the product.
Most Common Office products are manufactured on demand after an order is placed.
2. Availability
Products are offered subject to availability.
In the unlikely event that a product becomes unavailable after an order has been placed, Common Office will contact the customer as soon as possible.
Common Office may offer an alternative product or issue a refund for the unavailable item.
3. Prices
Prices displayed on the website are shown in the currency selected or made available to the customer through the website.
The final amount payable, including applicable taxes and shipping charges, is displayed before the customer confirms the order.
Shipping charges vary according to the delivery destination and order value and are shown at checkout before payment.
Common Office reserves the right to modify its prices at any time.
Products are charged at the price displayed at the time the order is confirmed.
4. Orders
An order is considered placed once the customer completes the checkout process and payment has been authorised.
The customer is responsible for ensuring that all information provided when placing an order, including billing information, delivery address and contact details, is complete and accurate.
Common Office reserves the right to refuse or cancel an order in cases including suspected fraud, payment failure, obvious pricing errors or inability to fulfil the order.
An order confirmation is sent by email after the order has been successfully placed.
5. Payment
Payments are processed securely through Shopify Payments.
Available payment methods are displayed during checkout and may include major debit and credit cards as well as compatible digital wallets.
Payment is captured automatically when the order is confirmed.
Common Office does not store customers’ complete payment card information.
The payment methods available to a customer may depend on their country, device, currency or the payment services offered through Shopify at the time of purchase.
6. Order Cancellation
Because most Common Office products are manufactured on demand and orders may enter production shortly after they are placed, orders cannot normally be cancelled once submitted.
Customers are therefore asked to carefully review their order, including product, size, colour and delivery address, before completing payment.
This clause does not limit any mandatory cancellation or withdrawal rights granted to consumers under applicable law.
7. Shipping
Common Office ships internationally to most countries, subject to shipping availability, local restrictions and applicable laws.
The countries available for delivery are those displayed during checkout.
Some countries or territories may not be available for delivery.
Shipping charges currently follow the applicable shipping zone and order value:
- France: €6.90, free shipping from €90
- Core Europe: €8.90, free shipping from €100
- Extended Europe: €10.90, free shipping from €110
- Switzerland: €10.90, free shipping from €110
- Monaco: same shipping conditions as France
- International: €22.90, free shipping from €150
The applicable shipping cost is always displayed before the order is confirmed.
8. Production and Delivery Times
Most Common Office products are manufactured specifically after an order is placed.
Production generally takes approximately 1 to 4 working days, although this may vary depending on the product, production facility and order volume.
Delivery time is additional to production time.
Typical estimated total delivery times, including production, are:
Europe: approximately 5–12 working days
International destinations: approximately 7–20 working days
These estimates may vary depending on the destination, production facility, postal service, customs procedures, local holidays or circumstances outside Common Office's reasonable control.
Tracking information is provided when available.
Some economy or budget shipping services may not include tracking.
Where a specific delivery estimate is displayed during checkout or in the order confirmation, that estimate should be taken into account for the relevant order.
9. Customs, Duties and Import Taxes
Orders delivered across international borders may be subject to customs duties, import taxes or other local charges.
Unless expressly stated otherwise at checkout, these charges are not included in the product or shipping price and remain the responsibility of the customer.
Common Office has no control over charges imposed by local customs authorities.
Customers are responsible for complying with applicable import regulations in their country of delivery.
10. Right of Withdrawal
Consumers benefit from a right of withdrawal where required by applicable consumer protection law.
For customers located in the European Union, this generally includes the right to withdraw from a distance purchase within 14 days from receipt of the goods, without having to provide a reason.
To exercise this right, the customer must clearly inform Common Office of their decision to withdraw before the applicable deadline by contacting:
operations@commonofficeparis.com
After notifying Common Office, the customer must return the product within the legally applicable period.
Products must be returned in a condition allowing them to be resold, subject only to handling reasonably necessary to inspect their nature, characteristics and functioning.
Unless otherwise required by applicable law, return shipping costs following a change of mind are paid by the customer.
The right of withdrawal does not apply where an applicable statutory exception exists.
Nothing in these Terms limits mandatory consumer rights applicable in the customer's jurisdiction.
11. Returns
Customers must contact Common Office before sending any product back.
Return instructions and the appropriate return address will then be provided.
Products should not be sent directly to a production facility or fulfilment partner unless Common Office specifically instructs the customer to do so.
Common Office does not offer direct exchanges for changes of size, colour or product.
Where a return is permitted, the customer may place a new order for the preferred item after the original order has been refunded in accordance with the applicable return conditions.
12. Refunds
Once an eligible returned product has been received and inspected, Common Office will process the applicable refund.
Refunds are made using the original payment method unless otherwise agreed or required by law.
Depending on the payment provider and bank, additional processing time may be required before the refunded amount appears on the customer's account.
Where applicable law provides for a specific refund period, that period will apply.
For customers exercising a statutory right of withdrawal under European consumer law, reimbursement is generally made within the legally required period following notification of withdrawal.
Common Office may withhold reimbursement until the returned goods have been received or until the customer provides evidence that they have been sent back, where permitted by law.
Original standard delivery charges will be refunded where required by applicable consumer law.
Additional delivery costs resulting from the customer's choice of a more expensive shipping method than the standard option may not be refundable where permitted by law.
13. Damaged, Defective or Incorrect Products
If a product arrives damaged, defective or materially different from the item ordered, the customer should contact Common Office as soon as reasonably possible at:
operations@commonofficeparis.com
The customer may be asked to provide:
- the order number;
- a description of the issue;
- photographs showing the product;
- photographs showing the defect, damage or incorrect item;
- photographs of the packaging, where relevant.
Where the claim is valid, Common Office will provide an appropriate remedy, which may include replacement, refund or another remedy required by applicable law.
Return or replacement costs relating to a confirmed defective, damaged or incorrect product will not be charged to the customer.
14. Legal Guarantees
Consumers benefit from all mandatory legal guarantees applicable to their purchase.
For consumers purchasing in France, Common Office is liable for defects covered by the statutory legal guarantee of conformity (garantie légale de conformité) under Articles L.217-3 et seq. of the French Consumer Code and by the statutory guarantee against hidden defects (garantie des vices cachés) under Articles 1641 et seq. of the French Civil Code.
Under the legal guarantee of conformity, the consumer has a period of two years from delivery of the product to request implementation of the guarantee in the event of a lack of conformity.
The consumer is entitled to have the product brought into conformity, including by repair or replacement where applicable, without cost and without significant inconvenience, in accordance with applicable law.
Where repair or replacement is impossible, cannot be carried out within the legally required conditions, or causes significant inconvenience to the consumer, the consumer may be entitled to a price reduction or termination of the contract under the conditions provided by law.
The consumer may also invoke the statutory guarantee against hidden defects where the applicable legal conditions are met.
These statutory guarantees apply independently of any commercial return policy offered by Common Office.
15. Intellectual Property
The Common Office name, brand identity, designs, graphics, texts, slogans, photographs and other content appearing on the website or products are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
Purchasing a Common Office product does not grant the customer any right to reproduce, modify, distribute or commercially exploit any protected content or design.
Any unauthorised use may constitute an infringement of intellectual property rights.
16. Liability
Common Office is responsible for fulfilling its contractual obligations in accordance with applicable law.
However, Common Office shall not be liable for failure or delay resulting from circumstances outside its reasonable control, including disruptions affecting postal services, transport networks, customs authorities, natural disasters, strikes or other events of force majeure, subject to mandatory consumer rights.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where such exclusion or limitation would be prohibited by applicable law.
17. Personal Data
Personal data collected in connection with orders and use of the website is processed in accordance with Common Office's Privacy Policy.
Customers are invited to consult the Privacy Policy available on the website for further information regarding data processing and their rights.
18. Complaints
For any complaint relating to an order, customers should first contact:

Phone: +33 (0)6 37 73 15 03
Common Office will endeavour to resolve complaints directly with the customer.
19. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms & Conditions are governed by French law.
However, where the customer is a consumer residing in another country, this choice of law does not deprive them of any mandatory consumer protection afforded by the laws applicable in their country of residence.
Any dispute should first be submitted to Common Office in an attempt to reach an amicable resolution.
Where applicable, consumers may then use the consumer mediation procedure described above.
Any dispute that cannot be resolved amicably shall be submitted to the competent courts determined in accordance with applicable law.
20. Changes to These Terms
Common Office may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time, including to reflect changes in legislation, payment methods, shipping arrangements or business operations.
The Terms applicable to an order are those in force on the date the order is placed.
